Cheezy Maggi Tomyam

i have been cooking my tomyam maggi this way for years now. and i still love it to bits. i've shared this idea with lotsa ppl, but only one loves it as well... thank u jessi.

others? well... its not that they dont like it, they just... didnt bother to try it cos it's really weird in a way...

what you need?

maggi, tom yam flavoured.
(i like it with tomyam and didnt try it with other flavours before, but apparently it can be used with other flavour as well and the outcome is as yummy. :) ...)
egg(i only like eggs to be added in my instant noodles. u can add fishballs/meatballs/porkballs/ vege etc of your choice)
last but not least, the weird but yummy combination...
cheese(any brand will do)

start off with the usual way how u like to cook your instant noodle.

i like to mix the seasonings first.

stir well... :D

whats maggi mee without the maggi mee?

add in my yummy eggie. making sure the yolk is not too cook. :D

serve in a bowl of your choice. whichever bowl that makes your appetite "WOW"...

lastly, my favourite part. the cheeeese...

place the piece of cheese on it and let it melt slowly.

and now...

enjoy the cheese tomyam taste of it.

im not weird. its not weird. its... unique. ;)

so, u got any weird unique recipe to share?

Modbox - December '12

i knew about beauty box exist through michelle phan, but i didnt know it exist in malaysia. i was blog surfing one fine day and came across haze's blogging about this. i didnt think much and just signed up anyways. it's only rm28 (rm19 + rm9 for delivery), there's nothing to lose if i were to really get stuffs that i can use. even if there are stuffs i can't use, i can give away to the ladies at home to use. :)

i didnt know i've already received mine cos apparently my grandma requested my neighbor to accept it for me, and i was expecting a notice cos i wasnt home. so when i stepped in my room and found a package, i was soooo excited and cant wait to tear the package apart to see what's in it. :P

initially i wanna do a video but i turned out to be very lazy cos i just came back from a night shift that day. so here how it looked like inside. it's december, so it is for xmas. the box is solid so i got another box for storing more stuffs. ^^ Firstly, hand written welcome card. When is the last time u see people hand write something? and i believe there are hundreds of boxes... Wow... talk about effort. Me likeyy...

so there is a welcome card inside. a formal one, and...

at the back of it explains what's in the box and the product description.

some cash vouchers (RM20 + RM100)

and now... the goodiesss...
(from left)
Juice Beauty - Nutrient Moisturiser : RM195/50ml
Juice Beauty - Green Apple Peel Sensitive : RM185/50ml
Himalaya - Anti Hair Fall Shampoo : RM24.90/400ml
Himalaya - Honey & Cream Body Wash : RM22:90/400ml
Skin 79 - Diamond The Prestige BB Cream : RM33.90/15g
LuView - Glossy Kiss : RM36.90/3g x2

Himalaya - Anti Hair Fall Shampoo

tried this only once and i felt my hair breaking apart. i felt my hair turned too damn dry. my hair is very fine, so maybe this shampoo is not for my hair type.

Himalaya - Honey & Cream Body Wash

very smooth after using, but dont really like the smell... hehe... but then, i use almost finish d. haha~ i like the milky feeling tho... ^^

Juice Beauty - Green Apple Peel Sensitive

mini jar

i super love this peel. after using it, i can spot a huge difference on my skin tone. looked brighter and feels so much smoother!

Juice Beauty - Nutrient Moisturizer

i never like using cream type moisturizer cos i hate the oily sticky feeling. eventho this is in cream form, but after applying on my face, it feels smooth. and i dont feel any sticky feeling at all! and that feeling lasts damn long!

Skin 79 - Diamond The Prestige BB Cream

so far i've used only 1 brand for BB cream. not sure which brand is it cos it is not with me for now. so i only can compare both of them. this BB cream doesnt feel heavy on my skin. although it is greyish color when applying, it will soon blend according your skin color. coverage is good...

LuView - Glossy Kiss

hrm... never a big fan of lip gloss. so i have no comment on this. but the rosy pink is damn nice. it's like tint on you lips. however, the milky pink, i guess it only suits fairer skin toned leng luis. my skin is yellowish tanned, and when i tried on myself, i look... damn pale. =.="

overall, i love the products. except for the shampoo. the lip gloss is still usable la. depends on occasion lor. hehe... it's a great grab and i am all excited what is install for next month's box. ^^

kinda like what is written here... dont know if it is applicable for u or not. dont know if u think it is true or not...

find out urself by using google translate la. thats how i know oso... :P

Wedding #3

i dont know should i thank god everything is done and over with. its not even my wedding and i macam tumpang stress. a part from that, i've been arguing with her almost everyday about this. no time to talk properly together or even eat properly together. dont know will be ok or not after this...

woke up at approx 4.30am and shower, blow dry my hair and get ready to head to the bride's home. while waiting for my turn for make up by the make up artist of the day, helped to get ready for the heng dai stuffs, hang ard in the bride's room.

luckily the groom came late than the appointed time, we got more time to get ready. got 1 make up artist only leh, and a lot of pretty ladies waiting for their turn neh...

timing was just nice, when everybody is done getting ready, the groom and heng dais arrived. played the games, (im waiting to see if there is any video), picked the bride and proceed with tea ceremony.

then, off we go to the groom's place... where? *TADA!* sabak bernam...

the journey... the highways are fun. bcos we were rushing time like mad, the bride and grooms car was speeding like mad (BMW), while the escorts cant catch up... most of us failed to follow the main car, and... we got lost. =.="" fun eh?

at the end the groom created a whatsapp group with rough directions. so even we lost track of them, we still manage to get to sabak bernam. luckily enough, when we reached sabak bernam, we saw their car, and continue following from there...

because of the long bumpy journey, all of our bladder almost burst... we Q up for the toilet. lol...

then proceed with the tea ceremony and all of us rested a while. the bride and the groom rested in their room. the groom's parents purposely extended another room for them! ^^ while others rested at the dining area with some food prepared. some of us... hehe... rested in the car with the air cond blasted. :P

we walked over to the banquet area for the lunch. it was 4 pm, i dont know should i call it lunch or dinner... er... hi-tea perhaps?

after yum seng and the banquet ended, we then headed back to KL... another few hours journey.

by the time we reached KL, we were all almost passed out... @.@

overall, the scenery is nice. but it was damn tiring. luckily the next day i was working nite shift. :D

Sweet

Came across this in Facebook and find it is sweet and funny... Just sharing out. :D

Husband comes home drunk and breaks some crockery,
vomits and falls down on the floor..
Wife pulls him up and cleans everything..

Next day wen he gets up he expects her to be really angry with him.. He prays that they should not have a fight..
He finds a note near the table...

" Honey..your favourite breakfast is ready on the table,
I had to leave early to buy grocery..
I'll come running back to you, my love.
I love you.. "

He gets surprised and asks his son,
''what happened last night..?

Son said..

" when mom pulled you to bed and tried and removing your boots and shirt.. You were dead drunk and you said.. ..

" Hey Lady! Leave Me Alone... I'm Married~! ''

this morning

i got up early to make coffee for lgz. never in my entire life wake up early just to make something for my other half to bring to work. never...

the nite before, she told me she forgot to make coffee to put it in the fridge (so that she can have cold coffee to bring to work). so i thought ok la, wake up early and make for her while she is in the shower.

so i grab the coffee sachet, condensed milk and a bottle labeled "SUGAR"

threw the coffee sachet in the cup.

fill half the cup with hot water.

put in condensed milk... i think 2 spoon full?

then add in "SUGAR"

i remember LGZ told me the coffee tasted sucked. so i tried first before pouring them in a flask...

i almost puked.

pour EVERYTHING down the basin.

throw away the sachet...

GRAB THE DAMN BOTTLE LABELED "SUGAR" AND PINCH SOME TO TASTE.

WTF!

ITS!

SALT!!!

anyways, after i threw everything and made a new cup of coffee, i didnt put any sugar. i realised that there is no sugar at all at home. =.="" so i put extra condensed milk in it so it wont taste that bitter.

really... dont ever... everrr... try salt coffee... i almost fainted from the taste. @.@

this salt coffee reminded me of a story...

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.... suddenly he asked the waiter. "would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby? He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!
Then the story was just like every beautiful love story , the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee e, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..

Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".

Her tears made the letter totally wet.Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee?
It's sweet. She replied.

LGZ cooked this last nite for today's meal at work. ^^V

just wanna clarify, LGZ didnt put in the "sugar" at the first attempt. she oni put the condensed milk. so she didnt know that is salt. =.=

In House Cafe @ Puchong Jaya

After cleaning our new house, it was very late and we were looking for food. We got pretty sick of mamak food and we decided to come here instead. In House Cafe is 24 hours with HUGE variety of choices! I got hard time choosing what I wanna eat.

Honey Lemon Green Tea

Sausage + Ham + Fries + Coleslaw

Very typical ham and sausage with chips.

*forgot what is this...

Even though I forgot what is this, but the taste is not bad.

Spaghetti Carbonara

Not bad. But I think lack of stuffs and can be more creamy... :P

Egg Tart

Crispy skin, soft eggie... but... not much eggie taste...

Deep Fried Salad Shrimp Dumpling

The shrimp is damn yummy and fresh. But the skin is a little thick.

Hokkien Udon

Smells DAMN good. Taste not bad too.
