new car!
yesh yesh... me got a new car~
i know i know. wat the hell am i doing? i shud be blogging about cny now but im actually blogging about my car.
but hey, everyone is blogging about cny, so i shud be blogging something else isnt it? i'll blog about cny later... if... i can remember. :P
after all the long waits and getting angry at the salesguy numerous of times. i finally got my car.
and im in serious deep shit.
i've already started to buy every single thing for my car! i got another thing to shop for now. gosh. previously, its just me. and now, my car. lol...
and no, my ang pau money doesnt help at all.
and i dont know i didnt check my car properly, or the wiper sucks. to. the. max. it fell off. yes! it fell off! gonna send for warranty this coming saturday.

My Dear Late Stephanie...
One of the saddest thing that happened and biggest regret in my life was losing a dear friend.
I knew her when we were in primary school. I was too young back then so I couldn’t remember much. Then until I think about Std 2, she just disappeared. I hear people say that she got transferred to another school.
Years later, I somehow managed to write her a letter or call her, I seriously forgotten how but at the end we keep in touch again.
It was year 1998's Christmas. I received a Christmas card from her. It was awfully early to receive a Christmas card but I was very happy reading her card about her updates and boyfriends, stuffs like that. Along in the envelope was a letter. After reading the card, I was smiling feeling warm to have a friend whom I haven’t been meeting for years actually sent a card to me. Then, I read the letter. And I burst out with tears. I cried till I couldn’t breathe.
The letter was written by her cousin. Telling me that my dear friend is no longer here with us anymore. She fainted one day and the doctor said that her brain was lack of oxygen. She was in a mild coma for a week before she passed away.
Which means, she had prepared to send me that card way earlier.
I was crying like mad and the 1st thing I did was I called my aunt and I was sobbing till my aunt cant even understand what the hell I was talking about. I was crying that after so long, I finally managed to keep in touch with her. After so long, we haven’t meet up and we never did at the end. After so long, I didn’t know what happened to her, why she needed the transfer without saying good bye? Why does she need to leave us at such young age? She’s really sweet… I missed her so dearly until the end we still never meet up…
I still do feel the sour feeling in my heart as I’m typing this.
You will be missed always...

anyways, things has been going well for me. having the freedom now of being single. i spent most of my weekends at bigcow's place and usually after work, i'll stay home and online.
pretty dead life, i know. i'm waiting for my damn car... which the idiot is dragging me. it's already wednesday and he said he'll deliver the car before CNY. idiot...

after updates. there is something which has been bothering me a lot...
what are friends?
when u r needed by them, what will u do? immediately listen to them over the phone? immediately see if they need to go out for fresh air? immediately ignore her calls?
when u need them, what do u expect? to be just listen to u over the phone? expect them to go out with u on the spot? or listens nothing but the caller tunes she/he chose for u to listen for entertainment while waiting for her/him to answer?
when she was down, she has problems with her bf and family, she'll call me. and my ears are always on stand-by mode to listen to her, to console her.
one night, bigcow came over to my place for dinner. we wanted to go for smoke so we called that girl to join. but... she never answer. as she just stayed few houses from me, we rounded her place see if we can call for her or not. but when we passed by her hse, i saw her bf's car. she has a habit, whenever she's with her bf, she never answers my calls. so we went ahead to smoke.
another night, my depression strikes. the urge of cutting came back. i needed fresh air. i needed to go out to smoke. but it was quite late and my area is kinda dangerous. i called her, hoping she'll accompany me to go out for a walk near the shophouses or 7-11. but she never answer. i ended up going out alone to 7-11.
one more night, another friend of mine is looking for cheap black t-shirts for printing purposes and she is doing some sort of things related to fabric. and did purchase t-shirts and does fabric painting and sell it. so i thought she could give me some information on where to get cheap but nice thick t-shirts. so i called her, usually i would wait till it stop by itself. but this time, after a few rings, i hung up.
am i easier to be used on?

Yes, we are looking into enhancing the template as well. But the priority now is to guide the jobseeker on how to write a good CV (not using MSN jargon) or like you elegantly put it, own style and comprehensive.
We appreciate your suggestion and we are always welcome any ideas from the public. We are here to serve the workforce anyway, so what best for you is best for us.
Ps: My colleague saw your blog and highlight to me. Don’t be misunderstood that we are angry at your post or anything. Our culture is always open and direct. We always like to hear from the jobseeker whether the feedback is bad or good. That is the only way to improve our services.

I'm not from the HR. I work as a Customer Service Executive in one of the MNC which I actually got from Jobstreet few months back, and I truly thank you as it's really a great job.
I was instructed by my manager to call a few candidates for interview, and I just don't understand why do they need to print directly from Jobstreet when they can just compose one themselves. It is not the resume part I'm concern about. It's the candidates. Perhaps internet has become way too convenient for users and becoming overly dependent on internet. I also understand that's why Jobstreet made it convenient for users so that they can depend on Jobstreet to retrieve their comprehensive resume.
Perhaps on the grammar and the capital and small letters need to improve on because people nowadays are so used to chatting and using Microsoft Office which doesn't even requires using the shift button on the keyboard. I did talk about having own style. I believe that when one person compose something, they have their style and it does shows their personality. Perhaps you could do something like, they get to pick their own template? Just a suggestion.

I’m so sorry. I really feel like bitching now.

Ok. I may sound pretty bitchy in this post. But I just cant help it.
Why?
Why people cant understand a simple thing call Comprehensive Resume? It’s something you type yourself. Not just by retrieving from jobstreet and call it ‘MY RESUME’. Are you so well fed till you cant do your own comprehensive resume? Even if you don’t wanna do ur own comprehensive resume, can you just edit the one u retrieved from jobstreet and make it more… your style? It shows your personality leh!
And plus, why cant u just be more… determined about looking for job? Now I’m starting to feel that jobstreet sucks. Everyone is just depending on that source and not willing to try other source! And why they can just retrieve it from jobstreet and not edit it even one bit? Really dependant up to that point?? Is it so damn hard to re-compose one and just drag the infos from jobstreet’s resume?
And for goodness sake… u’re sending ur resume to look for a job leh! Your future rice bowl leh! How can u type things like how u type when u’re chatting?! Yes! I see shortforms everywhere! And and… all small letters! No proper capital letters in front, something like that! Argh!
Why need to depend on jobstreet and newspapers when u can still go through recruiters? More chances of u getting a job, no? bargh!!

it's kinda scary to log in to nuffnang and found people actually searches for ur name as the keywords...
but one thing i really have no idea is... they really search through those search engine? or is there any other way that it'll appear in the keywords list? i'm not that IT savvy after all.
